Torch Calories

Bootcamps are a great way to torch calories. At first it’s challenging, but once the sweat starts to pour down your face, you realise the combination of the cardio and constant repetitions is doing your body a favour.

Burn 400-600 calories

Expect to burn between 400 to 600 calories during a session. By doing high intensity intervals of strength training, mixed with bursts of cardio, gives you a total body workout while torching body fat.

Cardio and Weights

Mixing it up between cardio and strength training is essential for weight loss because you need the fat burning cardio paired with the muscle building training to get the results you want.

Boost your metabolism

As the nature of this type of exercise isn’t meant for long duration but rather high intensity, it causes your body to consume more oxygen, leading to an increased rate of metabolism.

HIIT workouts

Multiple studies show that HIIT workouts burn more calories both during and after exercise, boosting weight-loss results. In addition, there is published a study showing that HIIT training increases the capacity for fat burning  in women.

V02 max

Improved V02 max which refers to the body’s ability to use oxygen as energy. This results in improved endurance, allowing you to sustain intense workouts for longer and increasing your overall stamina.

Improve your heart health

The structure of HIIT improves muscular function, including that of the heart, and gets your blood pumping even more than moderate aerobic exercise can.

I came to Alex overweight and lacking motivation to make changes to my lifestyle, I was in a hole and was spiralling out of control mentally and physically. Firstly I met Alex for a consultation and we discussed my current lifestyle habits, diet and the main issues I had previously faced when trying to make positive changes to my body.
